'No Database' error in Davinci Resolve 9.1 Lite. Cannot create new one - get "connection to server refused" error. Reinstall does not solve problem.

Need this for a large job. Will upgrade to full when I have the money. Wont if this thing wont work.

Apple iMac 27"
OS X 10.7.5
3.1 GHz Intel Core i5

AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048MB

Is this a new install, or do you have prior projects?

If it's a new install, try creating a new database using the DISK selection under the Driver dropdown menu of the Create New Database window. Once you have selected that, give the database a name in the Label area. Then click in the Host area, and select a location for the database. The normal default location is /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve.
