Da Vinci Resolve 9 Stereo Alignement cmd z

PostWed Jan 23, 2013 8:02 am

Hello,

I'm going through the stereo alignment of a TV Show (26 episodes) shot in S3D and I'm having issues with the automated stereo alignment.
It seems impossible to simply do a "cmd z" after having run the auto-processed Stereo Alingment (Transform and/or Vertical). When I ask Da Vinci 9 to go through the stereo alignment, I cannot, if I'm not satisfied, go back to the original shot (if I want to see the original shot, I basically have to reimport it).

Of course, I tried to activate the Stereo Alignment on a separate nod, then erase or deactivate (cmd D) that nod. Nothing happens, the correction Da Vinci applied is still there. And yes, the cmd z function works alright for all the color oriented features...

I look forward for having some help :)

Thanks,

Carlo

You can use the 'Reset Align' which is on the option pulldown on the stereo palette.

Thanks Peter,
That helps me quite a lot!

Is there a way to link the stereo alignment and the Convergence to nods that i can activate and deactivate to see the difference?

No, but you could use versions. One for each grade.
