Hi all.

I shot a sunrise on my BMPC, so of course it's plagued by the black-hole sun. I brought it into Resolve, activated "black sun highlight correction" on the clip, and found... that this correction doesn't work until an apparently arbitrary frame and then suddenly does.

Is this a known bug? Thanks.

Welp, here's yet another clip where this correction fails. Come on, this is a properly exposed image, riddled with this defect. I don't even mind that we have to use post-processing software to correct an in-camera defect, but it ought to work at this point.
