Hello,
I am currently using DaVinci Resolve Studio 12 (v.12.2.0.013) as my color correction and transcoding software, and I'm having some trouble transcoding some 6k footage to h.264.
I'm converting R3D. footage at 6K (5760 x 3240) to several formats and resolutions using the deliver page on DaVinci, and until now everything went smoothly; however, almost every time I tried to convert my 6K R3D. footage to H.264 codec one of two things happened: DaVinci crashed with no apparent reason at the middle or end of conversion, creating no file, or the file created by the software had a 0kb size. I've tried doing this with grading and without grading (a very simple Rec 709 LUT provided by the software itself, with only a few minor changes using the color curves, so nothing heavy or fancy), but the problem persists. However, everything went perfect with the footage's transcoding to H.264 at HD, 2K, or 4K, so I'm guessing this is a 6K only problem... You'll find attached a capture log I made after these problems started.
Has anyone had this kind of problem, or has any thoughts about what it could be (except for a bug I mean)?
Thanks a lot!
