ACES version in Resolve 12?

PostThu Feb 25, 2016 11:44 pm

Hi,

Wondering which version of aces Resolve uses? It only says ACES 1.0.

I'm trying to view my "Linear" Aces renders from Resolve in Nuke with OCIO - aces. 16bit Exr sequences.
But they don't match up exactly.
So I wonder if I use the wrong Aces version in Nuke. Have tried ACES 1.0.1. But it doesn't match.

If anyone has done this with success please let me know!

I've read that Resolve has aces IDT:s and ODT:s hard-coded into the app, and therefore a more accurate result. So is there a way to view aces renders from resolve in another application, and actually see it as it looks in resolve? With OCIO for example.

/Robert
