Buggy Media Pool

It appears that I have a problem with the media Pool.
When I start up a project and try to use media clips, I can't seem to find any. Not on the list to the left, and I can't copy it directly via another folder.

I have tried changing the format to AVI, Windows 10 video-thingy, Quicktime, VLC, but nothing is working.

Help please.

Hi, have you set a disk in the Preferences menu option so Resolve knows where the media is?
After you have done that, restart Resolve and you should see the drive listed in the top LHS of the media storage area in the Media page. Select a drive and navigate to a folder with clips.

There is a lot of detail as to how to get started in the manual which is with the installer or on the BMD web site.
