DaVinci Slow Zooming on timeline WORKAROUND

PostFri Apr 01, 2016 3:00 am

Hi Guys,

As I edit more and more with 12, I am realising some down falls. Whilst Zooming in and out on your timeline which editors like, need to do on a frequent basis, it can be extremely slow with a spinning ball and around 3-6second delay, I am running a super fast Mac Pro so it's not the computer.

A workaround for this for me was to shrink the video thumbnail and to turn off the waveform, turn it back on when it's time for audio tweaking and turn the video off.

I hope this can help someone .

Cheers

also, if you want the thumbnails, use the one that draw just the first an the last, is faster.
