lower perf with quadro gui card and nvidia driver mess

Hello,
I just got my self a cheap k2200 quadro card for gui, gpu for compute is titan x.
At first I booted up on the freshly installed quadro and perfs were good: candle test gave me 19fps(18blur) without quadro and 22fps(18blur) with quadro, good increase. I can't tell what nvidia driver I had at the time.

Then I don't know what took me, I UPDATED the nvidia driver(364.72)... and perf went down to 15fps(18blur) plus a laggy interface.

Since then I've tried a lot of things: uninstalling everything, then instal nvidia driver first, desktop video and davinci. I have done thoose foursteps with the four last nvidia driver version and result was always the same, laggy interface and lower performance.

I removed the quadro, did the four step above with the titan x as gui and then installed the quadro : black screen. I hadto resinatll nvidia driver with monitor hooked to the titan x.

If i simply remove the quadro, perfs goes back up to what they were, 19fps(18blur).

Anyone know a clean way to get a quadro and gefore love each other with baby davinci?

here is the rig :
z9ped8-ws
2x e5 2687w
titan x (first pci-e 16x slot)
quadro k2200 (third pci-e 16x slot)
64gb ram
rushs on a ssd
windows 10

thanks,
erwan.

Quadro cards and Geforce cards have their own drivers that can't be installed simultaneously. You should be using either/or, not both.

Hellro tero,
Quadro will work with geforce driver and vice versa. You can also use the windows device manager to install specific driver for each gpu(which i tried).
But this is not the question, it has worked well once with a slight perf increase, and why would blackmagic recommend a quadro k4200 for gui if it was not possible?
The issue lies most probably in the order of installing/uninstalling things.
