Resolve 11 wiped my entire hard drive

PostSun May 22, 2016 11:26 am

Hi guys,

Desperately looking for help

I was working in Resolve 11 when resolve mentioned it had writing issues and I saw there was two versions of my external hard drive on the library folder and the second one had a name on it followed by a 1. Wanting to fix the problem I then went to permanent deletion (thinking that was only in the programme). As soon as it started I realised this was probably a mistake so I cancelled it but to my horror my external hard drive has now been fully wiped and I have lost 3tb of footage!! How can all that disappear in a matter of seconds?

Any advice on recovery of data would be much appreciated.

Best

Sorry to hear that!.

Anyway my sister had a sd card issues, she
accidentally erased all here picture
on here sd card.

What you should use is: below

Recuva recovery tools.

I did download and scanned for virus no virus.
I have been tested Recuva, to my surprise
Recuva restored all my sister's picture!.

Here is the link to the website, where you can
download a free version for pc!.
I dont know if they have a Mac version!.
Recuva is complety free.
There is allso a paid version.

it wont have deleted that much data in a few seconds, but has probably wiped the folder directories etc, which then the computer cannot see what is on the drive.

google disc recovery software, heaps out there and many do a very good job or recovery
