Media not seen

PostMon Jun 06, 2016 7:45 pm

I have a very unusual issue with Resolve. I recorded a multi-cam shoot using three cameras - 2 of them identical Panasonic HMC-150P cameras. I moved the footage from the cards to my HD into 2 separate folders.
Resolve sees the media from one camera, but not the other.
Here is the path to both folders:
M:\Clients\HRH\2016-06-03_Studio\Media\Cam_2\PRIVATE\AVCHD\BDMV\STREAM
M:\Clients\HRH\2016-06-03_Studio\Media\Cam_1\PRIVATE\AVCHD\BDMV\STREAM

Both Cameras are AVC media, ".mts" files, recorded with the same settings, at the same time.
Any idea what could be happening? All the media in the Cam_1 folder shows up fine, but the Cam_2 folder shows nothing.

Can you post a link to a sample of each?

I just installed the latest (12.5) version and the same issue exits.

I tried your samples. I can replicate your issue. Panasonic MTS files can be problematic. File: B00000.MTS looks like it has corrupted frames at the beginning. I would convert to an all Intra codec for using in Resolve.

I got the same experience with other .MTS stuff.
Have it converted and add TC plus reel names too if you want to do any roundtripping.
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.
