Color shift when exporting to DCP

PostSat Jun 25, 2016 2:04 pm

Hi!

I'm having a color shift when I export my graded project to a DCP format. I'm new to all of this, so I have no idea what could be the problem and can't seem to find someone with a similar problem on the internet.

The film was shot on an fs7, S-LOG3 4K 10-bit. I exported it to 2K DCI Scope (it's 1.85:1) with the easyDCP format. When I compare the colors of this export with a .mov export, there is clearly a color shift.

I'll add some screenshots of the two versions and some settings of the project.

I hope someone can help me, please don't shoot me, I'm still learning the program...

Many thanks in advance!

Pieter

The DCP spec is for XYZ colour space and D60 white point so it will look different to a regular 709 colour space.

What happens when you look at the DCP in P3 color space on a projector?
