Keyframing Layer Mixer

Hi, I was doing a color grading breakdown from some techniques I have been studying recently. I thought best way was keyframing all correctors with static keyframe however I was surprised while you can keyframe layer mixer modes the blending mode remains from frame 0 so i got some weird results with starting image, is that behaviour correct?

If thats correct, there is another nice workaround to do a breakdown that avoid stuff like do intense editing node disconnection/recording your screen a la OBS?
