Crash on Render

PostMon Aug 22, 2016 9:12 am

Hi There

Trying to render one 6min clip, placed in timeline, LUT applied, no other changes or edits.
Crash is occurring on render, 1-2 secs after clicking the 'Start Render' button.
Source clip is 3840 x 2160. Output attempted at all youtube presets. Log attached.

v12.5.1.034 OSX 10.9.5
MacBook Pro: 2.3GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB

What type of source file?

What timeline resolution?

What type and resolution file are you trying to render?

What happens if you go into Resolve Preferences - Video I/O and GPU, and set GPU Processing Mode to CUDA instead of OpenCL? You'll need to save the prefs and restart Resolve.

OSX 10.9.5 is not supported, so could be related to that as well.

Isn't UHD simply too much for a 2 GB GPU?
Now that the cat #19 is out of the bag, test it as much as you can and use the subforum.

I would not try to do 4K on a MacBook laptop, period.
