Setting Gamma 2.2 to Animations with linear space ?

PostWed Aug 24, 2016 11:38 am

Hi,

sorry for asking on more question.

I'm getting some animations created in an animation program, file format exr.

The color-space is linear.

In other NLE's I just go to the clip, set a color correction effect and type in the gamma field 2.2.
This matches the linear space to gamma space perfectly and very easy.

How can I do this in Resolve ?

When I go to the color page, choose the primary wheels and type in the gamma fields 2.2 it is way to much.
Even if I try to find the correct value, It seems, not to match correctly.

How can I just go to the file, type in "Gamma 2.2" and get my correct color-space conversion ?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hello,

I think, I found out the solution by mysself.

It's the "Color Space Transform" Effect in the Effects Pallette on the Color-Page, yes?

Thanks a lot.
