Trim multiple tracks at the same time?

Sorry if this has been asked and answered, I searched the forum, manual and google, though my search terms might not be right.

I have a project that is multiple cameras (2 or 3) plus a synced audio track (everything is sync'd)

I sometimes need to remove a section from all the tracks (ex. new speaker/presenter coming to the podium and getting setup, etc.)

I add a cut to each and would like to ripple all the tracks at once. So far, the only way I can do this is to add cuts to each track at each end (double the number of cuts) and then ripple delete. I'm thinking there is a more efficient way...or am I going about this all wrong?
