Beat detection

Hello. I am 3 weeks new to Resolve and have been learning from the many blog and video tutorials about Resolve editing. Thank you to those that have shared.
I was wondering if anyone has a tutorial on beat detection, or can share optimized workflow steps for cutting scenes using a sound tracks beats? So far this feature is one I found missing in Resolve.

Good question. I am wondering the same thing!

I am trying to be more mindful of scene changes to the beat and would love a way to detect the bass drum or tempo.

One thing you can try is to hit M on the beat or on the 1 2 3 or 4 of the beat.

I do this with headphones on, and without looking at the screen. I'll listen to the beat and count 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 etc hitting M on the 1.
