I shot a video in portrait mode instead landscape mode. I wanted the portrait orentation. Now, when I rotate it in DaVinci Resolve Studio, it is squished. When rendered out it is squished also.
Anyway to rotate the video without squsihing it?
I have performed the rotate in Elements Premeier and it is not squished. I really want to learn and use DaVinci Resolve Studio.
Thanks for the clip attribution reply. I thought I've tried everything. Now to find a setting that works, as I have changed from Square to differing settings, and they all seem to be wonky.
Mine isn't anamorphic, straight video from Canon 5DMkII, Magic Lantern wasn't enabled on this take.
If it's regular video from a 5D, then "Square" is the correct setting.
Usually a squish would appear when the original footage has a different pixel ratio than square, and you'd have selected an Anamorphic attribute or corrected the ratio with an Input Sizing Preset.
Could you share a screenshot of what you get in Resolve ? And maybe a clip or frame from your original footage ?
