Problem with correct Project Settings

PostThu Jan 05, 2017 2:18 pm

I am a new to DaVinci Resolve so I am sure there is an easy fix to the problem I have.

I have a 30 second edit in FCP 10.3, the timeline is 1920 x 1080 10bit uncompressed 4.2.2, using Red Dragon Raw footage, with specific RAW settings adjusted for the purpose of colour grading. The frame size and position has been transformed in places to add additional camera movement.

When I export this XML into DaVinci Resolve 12.5, two things are happening. The colour profile defaults to REC 709 and it hasn't retained the transformations we made to frame size and movement so the picture is flying off the frame in places.

It's probably a simple case of me not setting up the export properly or the project settings in DaVinci Resolve.

Any help welcome. Thanks.
