HP z800

PostTue Mar 05, 2013 6:04 pm

I'm new to the Windows world, so I apologize if this question shows my general PC ignorance...

The config guide lists only the HP z820 and a Supermicro as certified. Does that mean that no other computers will work with Resolve 9.1.1. Specifically, what about a z800? Or a higher level Dell?

I know Resolve 8 was working on z800s, but don't know if something changed with 9.0.

Thanks

It means we've tested those models, and have recommended board placement information in the guide to make them work as described. Yes, the Z800 was listed in the Resolve V8 Windows config guide and will still work, but the Z820 is the current model, so that's in the current guide.
