12.5.5, Sierra, Controllermate?

PostThu Mar 30, 2017 2:14 am

After updating to Sierra from El Capitan, and to DR 12.5.5 from 12.5.3, and updating Controllermate to the current version, I'm finding I need to tweak the X-Key macros that involve mouse clicks. Anyone find that they *didn't* have to?

Yeah the cursor building block messed up in sierra.

Apparently there is a new version of controller mate release soon (4.10.2) that fixes a lot of the issue.

12.5.5, Sierra, Controllermate?

Correct, i have been in contact with the Developer as it messed up my Akai-apc40 huge mapping completely as well for some users that are on Sierra. It is fixable without the update but involves a huge amount of rework (took me 10 hours straight) if you have a large config. I have tested the 4.10.2 pre release of controllermate and it seems to fix 99% of the issues (your mileage may vary depending where and how you use affected objects).
Sierra is just a mess and creates a lot of work for developers , as every new release of OSX lately. Latest Sierra breaks the critical 'sudo' command..... (Was broken since first beta but of course goes straight into final release knowing apples focus gimmics lately rather then functionality)

(I am still on yosemity on all my servers, happily ever after as long as i can delay)

Hey, I know that my post here is pointless, but learn how to recognize useless OS before installing them for no reason, this will help.
I did SL > ML > ElCap for instance... ;)
