No CH3&4 Audio Playback in Media Page or Viewer

Hello and thanks in advance for reading this.

In a nutshell: How do I monitor channels 3&4 in the Media Page and in the the Source Viewer in the Edit Page?

The details:
I get no audio playback in the media page or the viewer the edit page from imported ProRess 422 HQ 4k clips with 4 audio channels. BUT if I drag a clip into the timeline in the edit page they play fine.

I think that the Resolve is actually playing back the audio for channels 1&2, but no audio was recorded to channels 1&2 on set. Audio was only recorded to channels 3&4. Resolve shows waveforms and solid levels for channels 3&4 in the Media Page and the Viewer.

I only want to monitor the audio recorded to channels 3&4. This the scratch audio that I want to use to sync to audio files recorded by the sound team on a separate system. Once that's synced, I'd be happy to only deal with the 2nd system audio.

These clips were recorded on an Atomos Ninja Flame in ProRess 422 HQ with on camera audio going to channels 3&4

I'm using Resolve 12.5.2.010
OSX 10.12.4
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)

Found the solution.

The settings for how tracks are displayed, played back, etc. are determined per clip via the "Clip Attributes" feature.

My confusion stemmed from looking for a project or interface based setting. Bit it's a clip based setting.

But you still can't hear tracks 1-4 at the same time.

All other NLEs and Quicktime players can hear all the tracks summed out of the stereo outputs.

I shoot on a Sony F5 and often use 3 if not 4 audio tracks at the same time.

Having to patch each clip just to hear the audio, BEFORE I edit it to the timeline, is a huge PITA.

BM were informed of this over a year ago.

All I can do is keep them aware of the problem.
