Curves for Position Keyframes... PLEASE !!!

PostFri Apr 28, 2017 3:39 am

Resolve 14 looks to be an absolute industry changer.

Bin Locking without specialised hardware could literally be the killer feature that kills Avid and potentially Adobe. It's incredible.

However, there is still one basic feature missing from Resolve, that kills me.
Please can you add curves for Position Keyframes!!

If I need to dynamically resize a shot, without curves, or at least ease in/out it the resulting move just looks terrible.

Previously, the work around was to send the shot to After Effects, now at least I can send it to Fusion from directly within the Timeline.

Sending to Fusion used to not be a huge drama, as we were usually just matching a move that had been created in offline (as literally every other NLE has curves for this), however, now that actually cutting an entire project in Resolve is looking like the best possible option (Did I mention how excited I am about not having to reconform an XML ever again) it's a bit of a stretch to ask an offline editor to go to an external program every time they need to do what is essentially a basic function.

Pretty please !

Thanks,

Simon.

100% agree...its seems to be a small feature, but it is a pain in.. to work with the positioning tool in the viewer
