3D LUT not working. Any one with a different experience? All clips turn black as soon as LUTs are applied... the only way it seems to work is to clip the highlights...i.e. move the top end of the general curve all the way to the left (at least)... before you can see the image. Using windows 10 Pro 64 Bit, HP Z800, and HP dreamcolour monitor. Any help please?
Loving DaVinci Resolve 14 ... however, at this stage lots of bugs... understandable as its Beta... Here is how I managed to use 3D LUT... (focus on the curve... highlights moved extremely left).
I am using HP Z800 Workstation : windows 10 Pro Version 1703 OS Build 15063.332 Processor Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5660 @2.80GHz and 2.79GHz (2 Processors RAM 48GB GPU: NVIDIA Quadro 6000 (Approx. Total Memory: 30649MB Display Memory(VRAM): 6081 Shared Memory:24567MB Drivers: nvd3dumx.dll,nvwgf2umx version:21.21.13.7735 (Date: 5/1/2017 model: WDDM2.1
The Quadro 6000 does not have adequate CUDA compute capability support for Resolve 14. It has compute 2.0 support. Resolve 14 requires compute 3.0 or greater support.
In Resolve Preferences - Video I/O and GPU, set the GPU processing mode from Auto or CUDA, to OpenCL. Save the prefs and restart Resolve. That may work better.
Where do I find whether my card is supported? Been googling Compute Version for My GTX570 2.5gb but can't find anything. Card was purchased from MacVid Cards is also showing black when I apply a 3D LUT in 14.
Thanks Dwaine, it's time for a GPU upgrade. Anything we should consider for future releases? Thinking an Nvidia Titan X 12Gb Maxwell should accomplish this.
