Hi all,

managed to get DR14 working great on my windows 10 machine.

But having an odd echo issue with the Fairlight page. Audio is set to my decklink card, and plays fine from the edit and color pages. In the fairlight page, it plays but with an "echo". The time difference between the audio and echo is always a little bit different.

Any guesses as to whats happening? Anyone else come across that?

oh...and I also have the disco flashing green windows in the fairlight page

cheers
Jeff

Same here. Actually sound plays very bad in Fairlight page and with lots of echo. Sound plays ok in preview and edit pages.

And is your echo viewable on the meters or only on decklink out?

Javier, your 2200gpu is likely under powered. Are u able to install a more modern GPU? Gtx1070 for example

sorry Peter,

specs are
Win10 Pro
x99 MB, i7-5930k, 32GB RAM
RX 470 8GB VRAM
BMD Mini Monitor, Desktop Video 10.8.4

its the same whether new or old (from DRP) projects, HD, 4k, DNxHD, XAVC, ProRes

tried to pick it up in the meters but its such a sort time spaced echo that I doubt I could see it.

I know in prev Resolve's if I used system audio the sync was always out a little bit, and never the same amount. Each time I played the clip the out of sync would be a little different. Totally rock solid sync with audio through the decklink.

The "echo" I'm getting from the Fairlight page is kinda like having both the in-sync decklink feed, and the randomly out of sync system audio both playing out of the decklink card.

Will do some more testing today anyway and post anything I find,

cheers
J

Thks.

Btw, GTX 1080ti is even better than 1070 but select as your budget allows.

Note, everyone who wishes to use CUDA will need a CUDA v3.0 card, or use OpenCL for processing.

ok, so I've done some more testing and it is indeed 2 out of sync streams of the same audio - one directly through the BMD decklink card and one through system audio.

If i turn the system volume down I'm left with just the decklink audio, but the fairlight page has serious trouble playing it - broken up, jittery playback.

If I disconnect the decklink audio and play audio via a usb audio driver then all is good.
Cannot use the realtek driver and onboard audio, just doesn'yt work for some reason.

This is all on the same machine as the DR12.5 setup, just a different OS disk. On 12.5 audio is fine.

Should also point out the decklink is connected via SDI to an AJA SDI-DVI convertor. (my BMD went up in smoke a while back) so don't know if that has something to do with the poor playback in the fairlight page .

I still have the random as flashing green panels in the FL page.

Am seeing the same issue here.

In the Fairlight page, System Audio output appears to be clean, but the Decklink Output is stuttering.
