DaVinci YRGB Color Managed confusion.

Wrapping my head around using the DaVinci YRGB Color Managed workflow, rather than using ACES as I don't deliver anything for Cinema. I was going to delve in to using this instead as a step up from the default Color Science.

I'm fine with the base concepts etc. and have set all preferences in the color management tab up to my preference for a particular RED project, but this is where I'm getting a bit confused, I've set my settings up as below:

Now according to the manual the Camera Raw section is supposed to be disabled in the Color Managed workflow but that isn't the case as I still have full control over the RED Raw settings, which is when I'm now confused as to what settings are correct as the RAW settings may end up messing with the Color Management. I've also noticed that whilst I've set my timeline to Red Log Film the image does not look log at all and looks quite saturated, which again is confusing me somewhat as to a setting I'm missing somewhere.

If anybody can offer some advise or even telling me I'm seeing something up wrong as I'd like to fully get my head around this whole managed workflow.

Maybe I'm wrong but I think:

Input Color Space - is for the camera/file recorded Color Space.

Timeline Color Space - is for the Color Space in which the project is going to be monitored on, in other words, your monitor's Color Space.

Output Color Space - is for your target/deliverable screening/exibition Color Space, like TV (REC709), Web(sRGB), Cinema (DCI/P3), etc...

Using separate gamma should be for specific cases where the viewing interface were calibrated with a different gamma for a specific reason.

But I may be completely wrong because I didnt come to read the manual for that subject, although I tend to use it. Still cant decide between ACES and DaVinci Color Managed but I like the latter controls better.
