Fairlight Tab Not Responding 14b2

I had this issue in 14b1 as well. Audio playback is perfect in the edit tab, but upon switiching to the fairlight tab, it's as if there's nothing there. Playback doesn't work.

I tried making sure that the tracks are routed to the master out, building aux busses, all the routing I could come up with.

I've also tried on multiple projects and have the same issue.

Once I get to Fairlight, nothing happens. No playback. Anyone else have this issue? I'm on Win 7 SP1

Is Windows 7 a supported OS?

win7 isn't supported, but some are getting it to run. don't know about audio on win7 .

Things to try. make sure your audio device is set to 48000hz. if its different, Fairlight wont work.
make sure the mute button on the color page isn't selected - in first beta there was nothing on the fairlight page to show its muted (haven't tested in 14.b2 yet)

Well, that explains it, I guess. The editing and color functions work really well, for what it's worth.

It's unlikely Win7 is your problem. Unless BMD is not revealing all it knows, there are no documented conflicts between Win7 and Resolve, beyond the inability of Resolve to play certain h.264 formats (which Win7 can itself play in other apps). So far, there's no indication this is any different with v14.

I have no trouble with audio playback on the Fairlight page (under Win7).

Another known Win7/Resolve issue is that Advanced Panels don't work under Win7 on multiple (but not all) hardware platforms.
