Will there be a 12.5.6 ?

PostSun May 21, 2017 2:38 am

Hi friends. Just wondering if there will be updates to the 12 series. In one of our main projects here we decided to keep on 12.x simply because we cannot take risks on any major upgrades now (to 14). Hence, we still have to cope with some annoying bugs, specially the one I posted some time ago regarding the "first frame glitch in every clip" when using ACES with nested timelines. It's been some time since 12.5.5, and I couldnt find any info on plans to BM on the next updates. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There will be no update...all sofware developers are working on 14...Resolve 12.5. is history. Just wait a couple of months, and you can update to 14 with no risk...

Apparently, there was one.. yesterday :-)

it makes a lot of sense. Professional workflows needs stability-updates on past releases, simply because it's just to risky to upgrade to beta-releases. And BMD has a LOT of diligence in not forcing customers into new major release (14 in this case). I really appreciate BMD attitude in keeping the 12 series alive , at least for some time. Thanks !!
