Nvidia GTX Driver 38x.xx and DNxHD footage

PostTue May 23, 2017 6:21 pm

I have been working on a show open with DNxHD footage supplied by my client and have been experiencing a vertical line on the blue channel at approx 4/5 to the right of screen. It looks like a dead line in the camera. This line does not appear in the AVID or After Effects.

I had sweaty time completing the project using a workaround (rendering from AE as DPX and recutting into resolve).

I just rolled back the Nvida driver to 378.92 and the issue disappeared.

I am on windows 10 pro with the latest patches, Resolve 12.5.5 and am using a single GTX 1080.

Anyone else experience the same issue?

Just heard back from Tech support and they recommend 373.06 or 372.70 for image format related issues.

I too noticed the same event. EVGA GTX 1080ti. DNXHD video. Win 10 pro machine.
I noticed if I resized the color pages preview window the line appeared to dissappeared however it still appears in the rendered output.

I just installed the latest Nvidia driver 382.33 and again observed the "blue line" issue. I reverted to the suggested 378.92 and the blue line problem is gone.

Glad this worked.

I found this thread after having posted mine. I wish I had seen this earlier.

I am wondering if there is a recommended Nvidia Driver version for use with 14.1. Windows 10 is insisting on updating my driver. Does anyone have any issues with the latest Nvidia Drivers?
