People" are pushing the beta... not the company. It is
not advised to use these beta releases in a commercial environment. In the first case, not all features are implemented or fully realized, especially in the case of Fairlight integration.
In the second case, although there are obviously enhancements in the new version, the previous version is a massively capable package that competent artists consider a useful tool - and a grade delivered by 14 will be indistinguishable from a grade delivered by 12.5 -- try it, sure... but overall this is a symptom of "next-itis" and pretty much a salivating bell-ringer thing that has really converted the world into consumers, rather than producers.
