CinemaDNG deflicker metadata info

PostTue May 30, 2017 2:19 pm

Hello all!

I'm trying to address an issue i'm having with Magic Lantern RAW video files.
Long story short, MLV files contain metadata relative to software ISO adjustments needed to perform a smooth transition between different exposure levels.
There is MLVFS which should produce DNG files with such transition metadata attached, but i'm currently investigating on this.
Would Resolve be able to interpret such metadata? From my early tests with DNG files produced by MlRAWViewer i can observe huge exposure steps, but MlRAWViewer doesn't look like it can produce such metadata. So i'm heading to MLVFS but it's still work in progress.

Thank you!

Answering to myself: yes, Resolve supports such metadata.
Managed to install MLVFS (finally) and did some tests.
