Resolve 14 - Has cacheing improved?

Have been unable to do any testing on the Resolve 14 beta due to our being way too busy.

I'm wondering if cacheing has improved at all over 12.5? It is currently one of the most frustrating aspects of Resolve in my opinion. Things that you have adjusted don't preview properly as the cache hasn't refreshed. Or you can't get a clip to cache that you want to. Auto cache seems to work some of the time. User cache is hard to manage when you can't quickly & efficiently be sure what needs cacheing or not.

There is something to be said for a render button.

Based on brief testing, the answer is "no". Agreed, the current design is confusing and often doesn't operate as advertised. But that's been true for a few incremental releases now, and they have their hands full with Fairlight now.

A render button just might be the solution....
