Conforming duration of compound clips

PostWed May 31, 2017 8:02 pm

I want to edit a feature film with a lot of compound clips ( scenes ). Then in the master timeline I join them together. This works really fine, but I miss the possibility to automatically conform the duration of the compound clips with the master timeline. E.g. After I change a compound clip's duration, shorten some clips so that the whole compound clip gets shorter, it would be nice to have a function to automatically conform the master timeline.

Hope somebody understand what I'm talking about.

I would like to know if this is possible as well. I'd like to ripple the timeline or at least have the clip snap to its intrinsic length when dragging the end point.

The question is understood.

The action can only be done manually.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
