Saving and Backing up Project Files in DaVinci Resolve 12.5.

PostSat Jun 17, 2017 8:10 pm

I've just started learning DaVinci Resolve 12.5.5.

Where are the project files located, saved, stored or kept? Are they on the system drive or the media / data drive?

How do I back-up these files? Can they be backed up to a flash drive or external drive?

What is the best process for backing up the files?

Thanks.

Be aware that this will create a DRP. this will take a little long depending on the size of the project. If you want simple bkps, like one per day, just to prevent losses if DR crashes (this is still common), you can simply make a copy of the folder of your project , located under C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Resolve Disk Database\Resolve Projects\Users\guest\Projects, like "before your coffee" :)
