different fps footage in one timeline? how?

is it possible to work with different fps in a single timeline?
Meaning having different footage from different consumer devices with 30p, 50p, 60p or even 120p.
Lets say I would have a project with 30 fps which ia my output target. then i can use higher fps for slowmotion for example.
I would Luke to avoid transcoding if possible. Consumer tools like pinnacle Studio support this.
