Resolve and embedding sdi timecode?

Hello,

I am just getting setup with Scopebox and would like to be able to monitor my timecode over SDI. My NLEs output embedded SDI timecode just fine (same workstation/signalpath). Resolve does not seem to do it. I could not find anything in the manual about it, and did not see anything in the menus.

Is this functionality missing or am I missing something?

In Capture and Playback/Playout section you have some TC options, but I assume this is irrelevant to actual monitoring.
Any setting in Scopebox?

Scopebox will read TC from the SDI stream or from a serial port. Premiere embeds the timecode in the SDI stream perfectly which my monitor and scopebox read just fine. I don't see any VITC options in resolve, though it will embed LTC in track 12 but this is not readable in scopebox. Stumped.

The plot thickens:

Resolve will output timecode when playing back from the delivery and color pages, but not the edit page.

Not the end of the world, but it would be useful to have on the edit page, too.

Put as feature request/bug. Should be easy to add if exists in other tabs.

This is similar to the Safe Action reticle: that's active in the Color page but does not work in the Edit page. That's driven me crazy for years, particularly when I'm trying to position a text graphic.

Yes, Mark, this is crazymaking I'm cutting/colouring a multicamera concert film/doc for broadcast in Resolve (X-keys is my friend). I have a bunch of sources - Red, Prores from a 6 cam broadcast team, AR7, FS7, Amira, animation from the screens - RCM, transfer modes, the totally decent implementation of multi-cam, and Conform to Bin are making life surprisingly good.

Functionally everything is working super well, the TC output in the edit page issue is not a show stopper, but a pain.
