Where can i get transitions for DaVinci

PostSun Aug 13, 2017 10:57 pm

NOOB ALERT!

I've been using DaVinci for editing wedding videos for now. I just through myself into it. I've gained some knowledge about frame rates and LUTs. I'm seeing a lot of my competitors using really cool transitions.

Please help! Where and how can I find some cool free transitions or at least reasonable priced?

Resolve includes a lot of transitions for video and audio. Have you seen those and need something better?

for some there's NEVER enough transitions. no offense intended to the op.

IF you must have the 'best' look at genarts sapphire - simply because they are uniquely customisable.

You might also consider Rampant transitions and light leaks which I like and use quite frequently. I actually made a tutorial on how to use them in Resolve:

And here's a link to Rampant:

Also good are Boris FX:

Sapphire:

Hitfilm Ignite:

Red Giant Universe:

The Rampant stuff is more of what I would call "motion graphics," but you could use it for certain kinds of stylized transitions. Not OFX per se, but actual files that can be keyed and layered:
