14b6 Jpegs are not running smooth

On my system Jpegs are not running smooth on the timeline (25p). Tiff files run only a little better. If they are very short they are not displayed at all. Short means 5-10 frames. Has anyone observed the same?
Can anyone recognize reasons for that?
Win 10 64bit, ASUS x99 deluxe, CPU i7 5960X, 32 GB RAM, GTX 1080 ti, SSD Samsung 850 EVO 1 TB

Never had an issue with JPEG (Even if the Tiff 16 bits is much better).

Can be checked in the project parameters: EDITING => General settings => Standard Still Duration:
Default is 5 (seconds).

Maybe increase it according to his choice. :)

I've noticed choppy playback in the Edit page when the Inspector is open but it's fine when I close the Inspector. I don't suppose that's going to make a difference to your problem is it?
