I've been asked to create a square movie for instagram, any way to output this in DR?
Just do custom project size, type desired resolution (+ choose 1:1 aspect ratio) and done. Resolve has no problem with it- at least it didn't in my test.
On export part make sure you use codec which is resolution independent- like ProRes, DNxHR, Cineform, uncompressed or any of image sequences.
