Keyboard shortcuts aren't working

My subject heading says it all - for some reason keyboard shortcuts aren't working. I'm on a new project so is there some setting I have to tend to to get them to work.

Looking at previous project I've finally discovered that "Keyboard Mapping" is set to "DaVinci Resolve". In this new project I'd set it to "Apple Final Cut Pro X". That choice seems to be why shortcuts wern't working.
