Says it in the title - it will loop the clip but won't pay any attention to the i and o - I was going to write this for beta 8, but 9 just came out and the issue remains.
The loop mode will then change the operation from one time to many.
I had a play with CTL / which turns the loop button on and off. However, it still ignores the I and O selection and - for me - if the clip is playing, it just continues to loop the whole clip regardless of the button being on or off with CTL /
Andrew, it works fine for me. Have you set In and Out points on the Farilight Page? As AFICT the Fairlight Page and Edit Page do not share In and Out points.

Yeap - I & O are on the Fairlight page only and when I hit CTL / it will continue to loop until I stop and restart ... I and O are completely ignored.
Peter is true: After setting an In and Out point CTRL + / activates the Loop request (or click the loop button ALT + / activates loop playback
Thank you.

This clearly does not work for me. I also have not found any other way so far, to get it to loop. I still need to try Alt-/, but on my keyboard layout, I need to remap this shortcut, which did not work after my initial try.
(French keyboard) Here the alt + / works with the keys alt + / (but the / is the division key of the numeric to the right)
alt + / (or ':') on the alphanumeric keyboard does not work

Thanks, but it seems after an application restart, the new keyboard shortcut mapping works for me now. So I am able to loop between in and out point now. Still, according to the manual, this should work differently.
I set an in and out point on the Fairlight page and then i press the Loop button which is activated but nothing happens. If i press PLAY then the In and out points are ignored and there is still no looping.
CTRL + / is activating/deactivating the LOOP button on the UI but there is no looping no matter what.
EDIT:
Wait a sec.. ALT + / Activates the Looping Play?? And that's the only way i can play a loop?? Hmmmmm

Related to this, I noticed the following behaviour on my system, when the loop toggle is active:
Pressing L more than once does not increase playback speed. It works with J though, playing reverse in different speeds. Disabling loop mode brings back normal forward playback speed behaviour.

I have seen a similar thing in that when you hit L it can sometimes hang before starting but will go fast straight away if you double tap L. J works fine.
I have added a plugin to a clip. I solo a track and pressed ALT+/ and the clip loops for, maybe, 4-6 times. But as soon as I make an adjustment in the plugin, the the loop stops working and it just plays through. I want learn Fairlight and use it as my goto DAW.
