Video playback glitch

Hi, I encounter small video glitches while playing video in the viewer before sending to the timeline. It's like a little reverse-forward effect on the clip. Like back half a second and then it resumes playback. Kind of like a stutter effect. It happens at the same time each time I play the clip. Sometimes it happens when playing video in the timeline too. This didn't happen before with version 12.5. I disabled Performance mode and the issue was fixed.. for now. I had the same issue with an earlier version of 14. I think 14 b6.
