Resolve lifting exposure on first & last frame of every clip

For some reason on Resolve 14 (Windows 10), Resolve is changing exposure on every single clip at the very end and beginning. I have no idea what's going on, but no matter how I cut, I can't get rid of the over exposed frame at the beginning / end of any clip. Resolve is just adding it in automatically.

Anybody see this before?
