Fairlight Dynamics input/output meters don't seem to work

PostTue Sep 12, 2017 3:00 pm

Like the subject says, the gain reduction meters for the gate and compressor work (I'm not really using the limiter yet) but the input and output meters at the outside edges don't show anything, which makes it harder to judge where your peaks are at, especially as the other audio meters seem to have changed to show pre-channel-strip levels.

Confirmed here.

Only the Gain Reduction metering for the Expander, Compressor and Limiter are functional.

Input and Output metering is not available in build 78.

I would love to get those changed to post-fader. Far more useful, I think.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
