Has anyone made a 5.1 DCP out of Resolve 14?

Hi All,

I've made a number of DCPs out of Resolve 12.5 using EasyDCP, but I cannot for the life of me get one to output in Resolve 14. The sound mixer delivered 6 files (L,R,C,LFE, Ls,Rs), which I've placed in tracks 1-6. If I use the crazy, non-intuitive routing called out here (viewtopic.php?f=21&t=63130) and then try to output a DCP, Resolve's "time remaining" just keeps counting up into the multiple hours with the frame rate at zero. If I cancel the encode, Resolve hangs and I have to force-quit. (If I uncheck "Export Audio" the DCP renders out just fine, so I know it's not a picture problem.)

I also tried ignoring the whole sub-bus thing and simply telling EasyDCP to route each track to a channel of audio in the DCP, but I then get an error:

This was VERY simple in 12.5 and, as far as I can tell, totally broken in 14. Anybody have any clues?

Haven't test it properly, but it seems you have to go to the fairlight window and select Bus Format and then pick 5.1 film.

After that you should see it as an option on the deliver page. If you don't see it you should check Bus Assign config in the fairlight window.

I agree, it used to be simple now it's not. And it wasn't working properly on the beta version, so I'm not sure to trust it now.

If you have the standalone version of easydcp, I would suggest to do a second pass on the software and attach the audio there. That's what I've been doing.

When I do that (the first way I tried) the time remaining just keeps counting upward and no progress is made. This is a DCP that takes 45 minutes to encode in 12.5 (showing normal progress the whole time).

Additionally, clicking Stop *appears* to stop the process, but the whole UI become unresponsive after stopping and Resolve must be force-quit.
