Applying a LUT to portion of a clip?

PostMon Sep 25, 2017 12:59 am

Hi there!
I'm very much a novice user here, so apologies for this likely very basic question.

I have a 5 minute long video file. I only want to use 2 segments of it in a video I'm working on. To each one I'd like to apply a different LUT (I just learned what an LUT is). It seems that when I apply a LUT to the first segment in COLOR, it applies to the entire 5 minute file. Is there a way to only apply a LUT to segment? (I'm used to iMovie where I could apply different effects to different portions of videos)

Thanks for your help.

in edit cut the file (razor) at the start and end of each portion of the clip. This will give you seperate clips to apply LUTS to
