[Help][Bug?] Fairlight Automation for Panning Freaks Out

PostSun Oct 01, 2017 2:44 am

So I'm trying to mix stereo audio tracks into for separate dialogue, music, sfx, etc. into 7.1 mix in Fairlight. However recording some automation the surround panner freaks out and clamps my stereo tracks to only go out through the left channels and sends the blue balance indicator off to no man's land and then when I try to correct it the green stereo range indicators and the blue balance indicator all disappear.

I have to create a new track and start over, and I have to go through these tracks more than once and fine tune obviously. My automation settings are Trim (write on the first attempt), Touch is set to snap, and On stop is set to event.

Is this a known bug? Anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix? Or am I just doing this wrong?
