I've problems with the two last documentaries fcpxml import in Resolve 14. As soon as I import the fcpxml, Resolve Crash and return directly to the desktop. Do you have an idea why ? I wanted to join the fcpxml but i can't, i've a message that say "The extension fcpxml is not allowed" !
I Use DaVinci Resolve 14.0.0.78 on a MacBookPro Retina Mi-2012 - OS Sierra 10.12.6 - 2,3GHz core i7- 16Go Ram DDR3 - NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 Mo. I've the same issue on a MacPro D700 - with the last version of DaVinci Resolve Studio 14.0.0.78.
Your FCPXML file crashed Resolve on my system. It opened in FCPX ok.
I noticed that you have a lot of stills compiled into compound clips. I have had issues with compound clips and stills with XML import into Resolve. I would try to simplify your edit structure. Converting a sequence of stills into a movie before editing may help. Also you can try other versions of FCPXML in the export dialog box.
Resolve 18.6.6 Mac OSX 14.4.1 Sonoma Mac Studio Max 32GB
I've tried all this : prior version of fcpxml, export without any title, the problem is due to some multicams. I've done an export of the first 5min and when i erase the Multicam named Biancarelli Ospedale Itw 2, i succed importing the fcpxml in resolve. Blackmagic have reproduce the crash, they said they will fixe it in next version.
Resolve crash when importing FCPXML in this case : - Timeline 1920x1080, 50i - No compounds clips, no multicam but - Connected clips with a duration of 1 picture (2 frames because 50i) If I delete all of this very short clips, all is ok. This is a problem because I'm working from an original betacam tape record and I need to hide drops and scratches by copying the previous or the next picture close to the drop. So the way is actually to export the video in ProRes and import it in Resolve with the scene cut detector...
