Diving into DaVinci Resolve for the first time today and hoping to have FCP7 reminiscent experience...so, how do I import selected clips from a Panasonic AF100? I'd like to select these directly from the camera...

Your files need to be on a hard drive. Resolve does not physically import them, it just references them on the hard drive. Have a read of the manual.
