Deliver Cineform RGB in AVI
Posted: Tue Oct 17, 2017 4:35 amIn Resolve 14.0.1 I notice that Cineform RGB (no chroma subsample) is not an available option for render. Only the YUV 422 format is available. In the Quicktime MOV option I see that Cineform RGB is offered. So it does not seem to be that Cineform RGB is a studio only option.
Is the lack of Cineform RGB render in AVI simply an oversight?
I suppose I could remux the MOV to AVI. Hitfilm supports Cineform natively on Windows in an AVI container only. MOV would go through Quicktime. This is the source of my interest in Cineform AVI.
