Preview mouse scrolling smooth, play is slow!?

I'm editting CinemaDNG 3:1.
When i use my mouse when scrolling through the timeline in editting mode or in the preview screen the playback is smooth and fast. however, when is press play it laggs and kinda freezes on the frame...
When i'm grading and i press play it DOES give me smooth playback..
My rig:
GTX 1080TI
AMD Ryzen 1800x 8-cores
Dominator Platinum 32gb RAM 2666mHz
Footage running from Samsung 850 pro through USB 3.1
